Sky Lagoon Iceland

A natural and culturally influenced thermal spa in Reykjavik.

As the dramatic North Atlantic Ocean stretches out in front of you, relax in the warmth of our geothermal lagoon on the ocean's edge. As you take in the beautiful sunsets and moody skies, you'll find that you can unwind and relax. If you're lucky, you might even see the Northern Lights dancing. The Ritual, a one-of-a-kind seven-step experience, will then help you relax even more.

The lagoon is approximately 38-40°C (100-104°F). Icelandic weather can often have a dramatic effect on the guest experience, and the temperature can therefore vary a bit.

You will find drinking water fountains in the changing rooms and at the lagoon. Drinks can also be purchased at the Lagoon Bar.

The Sky Lagoon Ritual

Feel the peace in your mind, body, and soul. Try something new. Step outside of your comfort zone with our 7-step spa ritual. Sky Lagoon's "The Ritual" is a completely unique journey and is the heart of Iceland's newest geothermal experience. The ritual is included in the Pure and Sky passes. A full journey through the ritual's seven steps is available once, but you are free to stay in the lagoon as long as you want. We encourage you to fully enjoy each step and be mindful of staying hydrated throughout your journey.

Facilities

We have two types of changing facilities:

• "Pure" has shared showers and changing rooms.
• "Sky" has private showers and changing rooms.

Towels are free for all guests. Hair dryers are available in both.

Slippers or robes are not included, as guests have direct access to the lagoon from the changing rooms. You are of course more than welcome to bring your own to use in our facilities.
